we are all getting so desperate to see more of the park before we leave. it's like just another 10 days!!! can you believe it?!!!! my goodness. so 3 of us and patty got to go to norris geyser basin today with sweet lia and jackie. nice girls... some of the people we'd miss.

anyways, no one wanted to take pictures of me shielding my face ala from the papparazzi. but never mind! i can take myself!




then we walked along the trail to see all the geysers around the place. and i saw the sun and thought it was sooooooo gorgeous! with all the nice sunset colours and whatnots. then i realised, it was because i was wearing lia's shades. -_-"' yes ah cui.

Jackson Hole + Old Faithful

Justin let me take charge of the wheel! woohoo! fun! interesting! i wanna drive! i'm determined to take my driving lessons when i go back to singapore. (yes shu, lets go take together! i wanna drive!!)

Other times when we have nothing better to do in the car except sleeping, rus and me entertained ourselves by taking lots and lots of photos! (we are so easily contented *beams*)

*Juniper Hair Salon 27 opening night*

as an opening activity, we decided to cut each other's hair so as to show how gd our salon service is... *at 3am in the morning* (and i had to work at 5am -_-")

gosh i have such lazy co-bloggers! did so many things yet none was blogged about. okay, i shall be the hardworking one and try to recount whatever happened.

1. Boiling River


Me, atap and esther went to the boiling river which is like hot springs. It's like natural hot springs flowing down into this downstream river. So our backs were damn hot and the front was freaking cold. But it was really nice. Steaming hot natural water. oooh. Okay and being naturally cui people, me and atap actually lost one flip flop each while trying to navigate in the strong currents. Seriously. Luckily we managed to hitch a ride back with some other river-goers! This is how we looked.

2. Rodeo and Dance!
Went down to Gardiner city for the Rodeo. My first time!! Woo. It's like a horse-related competition and everyone is dressed up in cowboy western gear. At least that's my intepretation of the event. There are several different events and people compete against each other to see who can perform better in terms of timing and scores.

Something which I thought was quite amusing (yes again). This is the equivalent of the advertisement boards we have at soccer matches. 555555. So cute.

Then it became a paedophiles' gathering. So many cute tots.

And then there was a country dance right after at the community centre.

Got in free! haha! Courtesy of a man who claims to have a fetish for Asian girls 55555555. He even proposed to Rus. Woo! But we had no idea how to dance to country music. Tried to get high on alcohol.

4. Panda Buffet!!!

Don't really miss local food but was damn excited when we got to this chinese restaurant offering buffet woo. Sweet Lia drove us there which is like 1.5 hours away. She was quite traumatized by the amount of food we eat. Taught her some chinese phrases too. Cool.



Food was good though I can't vouch for the authencity since I'm not even pure Chinese Chinese. Then we got sick of the chicken and more chicken dishes. 55

short post

just a short one. and i am easily amused so ...

was having the extremely boring food safety lesson with rus that day. watching videos and listening to the bored trainer's monotonous voice. then at the end of the lesson he asked us where we were from. i realised we were the only asians there. he was telling us that we were free to approach him if we didn't understand english. then we said we were from singapore. he was like, oh how different is the language from thai? and we were like "totally different! we don't speak thai!"

then he continued saying he only knows two words in thai. one is good night and one is hi. and he said "good night is .... sawadee" and we were like "nonono it's latit sawat! sawadee is hi!"

i thought we were quite lame. -_-"' hahaha or 555
